Contribution of Zh. Ya. Kotin, the constructor of heavy tanks to development of civil equipment

Abstract— In the article the contribution of Zhosef Ya. Kotin to development of civil equipment was described. On the basis of the different opened sources, including electronic ones, an attempt of objective analysis of construction of civil equipment, which was developed by the Special designer bureau of tank-building, headed by Zh. Ya. Kotin, is undertaken. The analysis of construction of the machines is conducted on a background of the terms of their production and use as compared to analogical processes abroad. The compliance of the technique with conditions of their use, plenitude of realization of the laid principles and place of the developed machines in the history of science and technique are determined. The separate facts of the history of development of new equipment by designers of military machines and also the reasons and drives for it are specified.
