NTUU «KPI» scientific school of efficient and ecologically‐safe fuel combustion problems

Abstract— In this article the results of works of scientific school of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on the problems of rational organization of incineration of fuels and diminishing of contamination of environment by toxic products of combustion are described. The result of works in the field of the theory of burning was creation of fundamentally new effective method of jet stabilizing incineration of fuels. Also this research resulted in creation of self‐regulating combustion and fire‐box equipment chambers with high power indexes, hypotoxicity of products of burning and low‐toxic burning of alternative fuels. The aggregate of the developed methods of incineration of fuels presents the universal base of technological decisions providing effective incineration of fuels in different power and industrial plants.
