Software development research of the mechanization and electrification of the agriculture of Ukrainian SSR in 60-ies XX century

Abstract— The main objective of this study is to recreate the history of the mechanization and electrification, as well as its scientific support in the Ukrainian SSR in the 60-ies XX century. In the article reviewed the government decisions regarding the development of these industries in the study period. It was found that issues of scientific support of the mechanization and electrification of agriculture in the 60-ies XX century in the USSR, mainly engaged Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture (Kyiv region) and subordinate research stations. The Institute was part of a network of research institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the UkrSSR. It was directly subordinate to the Office of Science, propaganda and implementation of best practice (from 1965 � the Main Department of Agricultural Science). In this article the history of creation, the activities, the main achievements of the Institute had been described.
