Professor Victor L. Kirpichev's scientific heritage

Abstract The scientific heritage of Professor Viktor Kirpichev was analyzed. A significant diversification of the scientist scientific interests was founded. That indicates his huge versatility. It is also proved that, despite the diversity of scientific interests, Viktor Kirpichev's researches have mostly innovative character. Viktor Kirpichev's papers processing, systematization and analyzing revealed that periods of high organizational activity coincided with stagnation in scientific work. That has confirmed the hypothesis that due to his intense organizational work, the scientist had not had enough time to conduct some researches. That's why periods of high organizational activity coincided with stagnation in scientific work and vise versa. It was a huge administrative work caused by an unprecedented phenomenon, when in fact one person involved in the organization of three higher education institutions did not allow the scientist fully realized in the science field. Despite this the conducted researches show a significant scientific potential of this outstanding personality. Viktor Kirpichev's scientific ideas have been continued in the works of his disciples and followers - A. Zaitsev, S. Tymoshenko, K. Roerich, M. Kirpichev , M. Savin and others.
