Abstract— In the article research into the history of one exhibits of the State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» - chuted capsule of spaceсcraft – was made. Information about its actual destiny as a spacecraft of detailed photo reconnaissance of series “Zenit” is presented. On the basis of analysis of governmental documents the stages of creation of the first soviet secret reconnaissance satellites are described. Its basic side systems, first of all an unique photographic equipment, are told about. A history of origin and application of concrete standard which is in the display of museum is expounded.
