Ukrainian SSR and ensure of scientific project to construction of Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant and South-Ukrainian and North-Crimean channels

Abstract— In this article the role of the scientific entities of the Ukrainian SSR in the data providing of the scientific research works for the designing and construction of South Ukrainian and Northern Crimean channels in the years of 1950-1953 has been studied. The value of the works of scientific entities of the Scientific academy in the Ukrainian SSR has been analyzed not only on the territory of the Republic before the including to its composition of the Crimea in 1954, but also on the territory of the Crimea area, which was at that time a part of the Russian SFSR. In particular, one can come to a conclusion that the scientific entities of Ukrainian SSR had a particular role in the establishing of channels design and the system of spraying of the territories of the Southern Ukraine and the North of the Crimea during the years of 1950-1953. The scientific entities of the Ukrainian SSR had a sufficient number of employees and the works done for the development of the project works and the acceptance of the management decisions related to the building of South Ukrainian and Northern Crimean channels, on the basis of which the single economic region consisting of the territory of the Southern Ukraine and the Northern Crimea was created
